Gold Filled

Gold filled jewelry (also referred to as "rolled gold") consists of a base metal such as brass or copper, that is covered in sheets of gold mostly 14 and 18 karat. These gold sheets are bonded to the base metal using a mechanical process involving heat. Once this process has taken place you are left with jewelry covered in a thick layer of gold that usually constitutes 5% of its weight, which allows the gold filled jewelry piece to last for a long time with proper care. Gold-filled jewelry is hypoallergenic, which is ideal for those of you who have sensitive skin.

18k Gold Vermeil

Gold vermeil constitutes a base metal and a layer of gold bonded to the outside. However, unlike gold filled, gold vermeil always uses sterling silver. This method of gold plating is done via electroplating the gold to the silver - binding the two metals together. In order to be considered as true vermeil jewelry, the base metal must be Sterling SIlver which means your piece is made from precious metals only and the gold on the piece needs to be at least 2.5 microns thick, and at least 10k or higher. Same a Gold Filled, Gold vermeil is also a type of gold jewelry made to last as it is less likely to fade, tarnish, or wear off.

Sterling Silver

All of our silver items are 925 sterling silver, an alloy made of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. All our sterling silver pieces are stamped with the 925 mark, indicating the metal's purity.

18k Gold Plating

We use high quality 18k gold plated metals in our collection from time to time, such as the clip-on findings of our Just Peachy clip on earrings.

Most of the base metal of gold plated items is brass or copper electroplated with a layer of gold. Usually less expensive than vermeil, that being said, a gold plated piece is also valuable if it has a high gold karat weight (18k and above) and a thick layer of gold.

It just requires a little extra care and tips to keep the lustre and brightness of gold plated items to delay its tarnishing process. Learn more

Pearls

All of our beautiful pearls are carefully selected and handpicked with love genuine cultural fresh water pearls. No pearl will ever look the same. Each is unique and varies in size and colour but we will try our best to make perfect matches in the same items. We love to use a variety of  pearls particularly Baroque, Keshi, Edison pearls, Biwa (stick pearls) and natural colour baroque pearls, for their bold and quirky, raw yet perfect imperfect appearance. They are treasures of the sea, unapologetic beauties just like their wearers.

Gemstones

We use a variety of gemstones and natural stones that are sourced from different origins. Same as our pearls, each stone that we use is carefully selected and each of them has its unique beauty. Some of them are raw beauties and some might have flaws, but all of them are natural gifts of the nature and unique in their characters.
